April runs from spring sun to snowstorms. Driving? Carry chains, or come with snow tires and four-wheel or all-wheel drive. Tioga Pass through Yosemite is usually still closed in April.
We meet you at the airport. Arrive Sun 11, head home Fri 16 or Sat 17. The smaller the plane, the closer you land, so book the short hops early.
Summit shuttle. The most flights and the biggest planes, from Seattle, Portland, Denver, Dallas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and all over California. About 3½ hours up US-395, with the conversation starting on the bus.
Short shuttle. Regional flights from Denver and San Francisco, one a day from each. In 2026 the Denver flight was 65 of 70 seats Summit people.
One flight a day from each city: when they fill, they fill.
Land in town. Advanced Air from Hawthorne (15 minutes from LAX) or Carlsbad, about an hour, nonstop: the easy way in from Europe and Japan, landing at LAX the day before. The ESTA Airport Flyer meets the flights, 10 minutes to town, and we cover your fare. In bad weather the flights can land in Bishop instead.
30 seats a flight. No flights on Saturday.
Not included in your pass: about $242 one way from Hawthorne and $315 from Carlsbad, booked with Advanced Air (October fares).
One there and one home. Signed in with your pass, your pick goes on your registration; we size every shuttle from them.
